To be honest I don't like the name Bionic Fighters much. That was also a complaint that the allstars forums had. I think you guys should change it. Because this title sounds like every character has to be a robot

@ JaredGThis is exactly why I suggested a name other than "Bionic Fighters." "Bionic Fighters" wasn't really fitting title, considering how the original aim was to include other indie characters. "Bionic Fighters" sounds like a name that would be chosen when a person runs out of ideas. I already bought bionicfighters.com for you; I'm not willing to spend more money on another domain.

nitrohamster & bryant- Alright, we are going to have a meeting tomorrow down here in San Diego, CA. We will discuss a title/ name change at that point in time. Also, that is understandable. We will be pitching the game to a Publisher so a game website will not be necessary until they give our title the Green-light for funding anyways. My friend an Account Manager feels that we should be able to develop our title Bionic Fighters easily with assistance.

@ JaredGYou may want to pitch the game to indie studio-"publishers" like Double Fine. Don't pitch the game to corporate stockholder-powered companies.

From the What companies have... thread: nitrohamster- Hm! We may well be on our way to licensing "young kid" depending upon the studio's reception to my followup email. I was passionate and straight forward with them, so we can just look forward to the best... Although, the studio was a bit perplexed by our game's title. Do you have any feelings on it? Does Indie Fighters or Indie Brawlers better suit this IP? We haven't trademarked the title of our game yet... Best regards, Jared Gingerich All discussion related to changing the title of the game to something more appropriate will take place here.

Because this title sounds like every character has to be a robot PLOT TWIST On a serious note I'd have to agree on the name thing, I'll try to think of a catchy one too. I'm not the best with names but who knows.

I agree on the name change, bionic sounds like we are limiting ourselves on the type of characters that are presented, and what people are expecting. For what to change it to, I don't have an idea as yet, but how straight forward do we want to be on the title?

I have suggested "Indierena" or "Indyrena" (a portmanteau of "indie" and "arena"). It sounds pretty cheesy to me, though. Some other cheesy names: Variety Fighter, Fight! Indie

The name should highlight Indie and the full title should make it known to be a brawler/ multiplayer game.

Maybe not Indie Allstars, but i think you should use Round 1. Then a sequel would be round 2

It's really better not to include numbers.

It's really better not to include numbers. Why? Its not like its called Bionic Fighters 1. Its the first round, round 1 its a good fighting reference

My personal favorite is: Indie Assault for a new title.
Though, Indie Fighter and Indie Alliance also sound better than Bionic Fighters.
