First off I want to say that I really like the ideas of having the Singleplayer mode focus on each character's general playstyle in some way, and the in-depth training mode that includes frame data for each move.
But also, I'm very curious as to what techniques will be put into the game? I'm already aware of both the directional airdodge (wavedashing confirmed!), and the DACUS (Dash Attack-Cancelled Up Smash, what it does is gives some characters the ability to cancel their dash attack with an up-smash, keeping the dash attacks momentum. This is most noticeable with Snake's, which is called "Mortar Sliding") from Brawl, and Hali seems to play a bit like Samus which should confirm land-cancelled projectiles but I'll try not to assume.
But is anything else for us competitive players planned for this, or will it all be organic from the game itself like the original Smash games? Either way is good, but having a good variety of options and techniques to explore is always nice.
Sorry if this isn't specific enough. Most of the techniques in Smash come from the game itself besides Z/L-cancelling and a couple of others, so it's a bit difficult to give examples without asking if you're going to take something from one of them. I personally like the idea of keeping the DACUS though, however to avoid too much upsetness from the Smash community I feel that giving it a new name could work out better.
