Life is full of endless potential and here is an exciting example to see honestly why I haven't dropped $250 + on a pair of headphones. The Glyph here!->> Glyph Link actually has built in from the get go premium audio ear-cups and also a beautifully rendered video display. What, no WAYYYYYY?!!!Yes, and their developer (V 1.0) kits are shipping for $500 with noise cancelling, and I tell you this is an exciting time to be a gamer. Now I love playing mobile games, but this [to me] would be the pinnacle accessory to go with my terrific Galaxy Note 2. Edit: Who wants one of these slick devices?

Hmm, true the Oculus Rift may be better geared towards gamers, but overall who really is going to have room to carry the Oculus Rift every where they go. As with the Glyph, its stylish and can be literally taken anywhere headphone(s) can go... Library, college, friends house, McDonalds, to the donation center, Donuts N More, Toys R US, Victoria, Secret, etc, etc..

This is a very good all around item. They weren't promoting it for gaming. They appear to be promoting it for a full media device. It looks like an amazing piece of technology.

The Glyph is quite nice as a multimedia device. The compact size is great for traveling around, and there is no need to bring an audio device since the Glyph is the audio device. Oculus Rift is generally great for use in a swiveling chair or when you are not moving. People have done really amazing things with the Rift so far. For example, someone attached cameras to a Rift and managed to create an augmented reality program. For gaming, however, the Rift is much better than the Glyph. People will want the larger field-of-view and the greater immersion that comes from the Rift.
