I guess putting in the General section wouldn't be right, so I reposted it here. Mods can delete the one in the General section.
Anyways, if Bionic Fighter's ever going to get more money donated to the kickstarter. Not too many people know this game, that might be the problem. Look at how many backers there are: only 34. See? Imagination Vent, if you want your $30,004, or at least the most you can get out of it, you need to advertise it. Spread the word to famous game rating or game developing companies, that might actually help. But there's only about 60 hours left, I hope I'm not too late to say this.

Sorry, messed up on something.
"Anyways, if Bionic Fighter's ever going to get more money donated to the kickstarter, *it needs to be advertised*."

ryanarcher29- We worked hard at advertising for the campaign, but due to the dismal reception from both the fighting community and the larger gaming sites at hand made it difficult to strive forward..

Oh, you guys already tried that, huh? What about Imagination Vent? Could they do the same with their own game somehow?

Gaming communities like that tend to be overly cynical. Even Air Dash Online, which had high level gameplay in it's trailers (though still a bit blocky), and a larger team to work with who were popular within the Smash community, failed because of the community's cynicism and lack of acceptance. I'm sure it will be more accepted depending on the trailer for the next Kickstarter, but it's extremely important that it's able to keep and hold their attention. We all know what those communities are capable of (EVO 2013 being a great example), they just need to feel that it's worth their time and money.

maxfalcon- No offense, but the FGC seems very timid and accepting of 'crowdfunded' fighting video games. Our studio felt like our game got beheaded in the first few days because of the lack of support from them, and Chainsaw Incident is NOT going to reach their $250k beta target goal unlock. I feel that the "community at large" are expecting a finished game and also the aftertaste of "Clang: from Neal Stevenson" left an poisonous taste in backers mouth's that are now oww so hesitant to support fighting games after his campaign killed their Kickstarter goal and then failed to deliver even a demo to their backers...

Nah I understand, I can't really blame them though. It's hard to have faith when stuff like that happens. A lot of the community wants things now and aren't fond of waiting, which is pretty unfortunate because video games aren't like that. But I'll do what I can to support the game, I got the voice actor for Serious Sam interested so I'm sure I can talk more people, maybe even the more patient part of the community, into helping you guys out.

maxfalcon- Yeah, thank you for your understanding. We want the best possible gaming experience we can envision, but we don't have the man power or resources of what Double Helix Games had to create Killer Instinct. Though, don't be weary as we have been undergoing maintenance at the studio and my new Art Director is ready to show you guys exactly what you deserve for a slick N ew-gen platform fighting video game. You have his and my word on it, after he recently graduated from college and is ready to sink his teeth in deep into our development for the art direction throughout the summer on Indie Assault. Thanks so very much Max! That is epic that you were able to get John "the serious Sam voice actor" excited about our title. I was realistically only about to get 1 Game Producer Drew Bradford excited about our title, though barring in mind he doesn't personally like fighting video games :/.
