Sweet, I'll go ahead and add you.
I agree. It might also be useful to have a second GD category that's not set to public for this kinda stuff. We could still use the public version for promotional topics and maybe even feedback later on. And a steam group for our team would be kinda neat.
Also, I can't quite find you on Steam austin. Search for nitsua7 comes up with 6 other variations.

Heck yea, you bet a steam-group (sounds Excellent) as we'll need to know the finite details on Steam since we are planning to release on that platform also.
Is anyone planning on picking up the Steambox, that controller looks strange?

steamcommunity.com/id/mikewithnoodles/Yeah, that control looks like a mutant original xbox controller haha. But that haptic feedback system supposedly can simulate like tangible textures in game...so that's awesome.

The steam box is an interesting console-like OS. The dual track pads on the controller are kinda strange. I imagine it'd take some getting used to. I kinda like pushing around an analog.

Oh, I suppose I should introduce myself. Let's see...
My name's Anthony but some of you may or may not have known that. I've worked with Unity for about 4 years - though mostly on a JavaScript portion of scripting - but I've also been trying to get independent game projects out in the meantime. I've gotten a few other projects out with Unity, but the main one I want to focus on is Carter's Misadventures, the little beaver you can see dancing around for my avatar.
The best and worst part simultaneously of Carter's Misadventures is that I'm handling a lot of the workload of that on my own. This includes but is not limited to conceptual design, environments, character models, animations, rigs, collision areas, level design, scripting, sound effects, among others. The only thing that I'm sure that I can't do on my own on the project at this moment in time is music, so I'd been asking around regarding that, and I did get some other help regarding environments in Carter, but that's another thing.
Jared wanted to put me on as a Unity Developer so here we are. I figure my experience with 3DS Max would help although I'm more used to doing a cartoon artstyle with my characters, which clearly isn't what this project wants.
My favorite game is easily Smash Brothers Melee. I want to make that distinction - Melee. Melee, despite its problems, did a lot of things right and defined Smash for me: simple gameplay, but a lot of depth behind all of it. Think about it - Melee is easy to pick up with simple controls. One attack button influenced by directions, a special attack button also influenced by directions, a jump button and a defense button all combined into a platformer style of gameplay. It's unorthodox and it's unique, but what really stands out is that once you get into the mechanics of the game, there is so much more to discover and learn about the game. Yes, I'm aware Melee has its issues despite the praises I'm singing about it, but Melee did something right that a lot of games don't, and a philosophy that I stick to when I design games: keep it simple to learn, but hard to master.
I can and will play someone willing for hours on end in Melee. I've delved into the competitive side of things, but even on the "casual" side of things Melee had quite a bit going for it which I can't say the same for Brawl.
As for now, what I mostly play right now is League of Legends. I'm currently Gold 3 and playing here and there to see if I can hit Plat 5 by the time the season ends.

Hey Guys, I know that I have been kinda radio silent but here we go.
My Name is Chris I go by Cuki to all of my friends. I graduated from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln with a degree in Fine Arts. My focus in school was Graphic Design and Printmaking. I like to call myself a generalist due to the fact that I have dipped my metaphorical toe in just about every form of art and programming. I am looking forward to working with you all to make Bionic Fighters a hit. I will be helping out with the animation side of the game.
My main project while in school was designing and custom painting skateboards and long boards. I DJ as a side gig and am really getting into designing lighting programs for light shows while if I am not Djing other people are.
My favorite games are
UMvC3 in the fighting genera followed closely by BlazeBlue
All of the Tomb Raiders followed by FFIX and Quest 64 for the classic RPG type
Forza Motorsport games are my fav racing games
LOL is good but haven't played in a while
Terra is my Fave MMO followed closely by Guild Wars 2... Started on Evercrack back in the day
And my two poisons of choice right now are GTAV (go figure) and Rayman Legends
I am stoked about this project

Hi all, nice to meet you too ! My name is Julien, I’m french and I’m 26 years old. I sent a demand for "Intership" in "Imagination Vent" for my University, and they accepted me ! I needed to work 3 weeks in company but i can work more time with you (if needed ) I'm studying to work in the video game industry later as a game designer or producer. (i have 3 years more to do). This is my first experience; i hope i will help you as much as i can. For now i'm working on 3D items for the team. I have some experience with Zbrush/3DSMAX/3DCoat/Photoshop ! I'm better with UDK and i got more experience with C++ (for Unrealscript) to work on a school project ! But now i'm trying to work with UNITY witch is very interesting too ! I learned a lot with "Eat3D" and "Video2brain" videos and i strongly recommend them ! Anyway, as a gamer i try to not play anymore, i was a big MMORPG player in "old" time (Dark age of Camelot, WOW, Aion, FF11, Warhammer Online) now i'm playing as a casual in FF14ARR ! My favorite game designer and "God" is "Hideo Kojima" haha The concept of Bionic Fighters is very good and i think it's gona work well ! Take care of you and cheer for work !

Hey whats up y'all!! Sorry I have been really late responding to this thread but here it goessss.. My name is Ron Sershon and my main expertise is in modeling and texturing environmental assets in Maya and Photoshop. I recently graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelor's in Game Design with a concentration on Game Art/Animation. During my senior year we worked on a game called "Undertakers" which is a western free for all multiplayer shooter game. If you guys are bored check it out haha. game.colum.edu/projects/undertakers/.....I worked on the environment aspects of the game. Also got the opportunity to attend GDC last year which was awesomeee and I learned alot about everything about games. After I graduated I have been working on a mobile where I am creating all of the art for it, as well as the design of the game. I then came across Imagination Vent and I got the chance to talk with Jared over the phone and his passion for Bionic Fighters made me literally jump out of my seat and say I need to be a part of this!!! Currently I am working on the character selection screen which is pretty much done but yeah I am very excited about this game and having the chance to work with all of you wonderful people As for games I hate admitting this but I have been lagging so much on my game playing lately but I love all of the old school Mario Games and Mario Kart, as for the new games I love playing anything that is aesthetically pleasing since I am a 3-D Artist and like making things look pretty. I recently played Last of Us and that made my jaw drop. I am really looking forward to playing Watch Dogs. Other than that I play alot of sports games too Im a huge sports guy so I like all the 2K basketball games but love the classics too like NBA JAM and Hangtime and Blades of steel. Bionic Fighters is going to be AWESOME!!! Im excited to play it once we finish and brag to my friends I was apart of that. LETS DO THIS!!

Hey everyone!
Its nice to read what you all had to say. My name is Connor and I am currently attended college studying music production and engineering. I will be creating songs and sound samples for the game and hope to see an amazing finished product. I love music and video games! For a project in class we had to create a surround sound video game project with original sounds and original music. Needless to say it was a great experience. I cannot wait to be working with you guys to create something to amazing! If you have any questions for me let me know.
Connor
