Hey @community! Would you be kind enough to provide some Feedback, Pro's and Con's what you like so far about our in-development Score Screen for Indie Assault? Thanks! Regards, Jared Gingerich

LIQUIDFGC + nitrohamster- Thanks for the Feedback! Do you have any designs in mind or are you just looking for a more colorful/ cartoony look to the Score Screen?

Yea. Backdrop of the stage would be cool. It should also play victory music from the game that the winner is from. As for the floor, i think it looks to 90's Maybe have a stand that the players stand on and it says 1st 2nd and 3rd? Maybe have the winner do a victory pose that basically kinda taunts the opponents. Like for example if Steve from minecraft was in the game, he would do a victory pose and the other 1-3 characters would be in a jail cell made of minecraft blocks. Something like that might be cool. I dont think any other game does that. These are just what i thought of off the top of my head

As for the floor, i think it looks to 90's One person from a post on Smashboards said "this game looks more 90s than the 90s" lol. I kind of like that about it. But yeah, the score layout is a bit confusing. I feel like the scores should be positioned relative to the characters like how Smash does it. Of course some more background would be nice too. Perhaps the coliseum or whatever that was once the menu screen? A futuristic coliseum-type place would be nice for this imo. Or the stage that was just fought on? And yeah, I agree with nitrohamster about either the stands and/or victory/loss poses for the characters. It would also be funny if there was an extra animation for the player in last, being chased around by something like a small creature is the first thing that came to mind but it could be a nice touch.

That's the point lol. I have nothing new to add so I stole borrowed max's post to show my opinion.

Actually, everyone standing there like that looks boring, no offense. Why not show some of them broken, or battered, or fainted? Would certainly be more interesting.
Off Topic- How complicated is Unity?

@community- I have embedded an updated screen of the Score Screen that our studio would value any feedback on it. Thoughts?! LIQUIDFGC- Yes, we are actually working on that at the moment. We currently have @bgarza working on the fan-fare audio for the Score Screen with Philocypher currently prototyping some animation ideas for character win/ lose look(s).

I'll be dead honest here, apart from 'Press Start' and the floor...looks somewhat equal. Now, if the floor and/or scenery changes with each stage, that's something else, but...it kinda looks the same atm. Maybe some flair to the ACTUAL score screen would be nice. Maybe different colors to each player's respective color, maybe different place fonts(like first place gets shiny and from there to last place it goes rotting and looking bad). Just my 2 cents.

I personally would like to see a scrolling feed for each player. The stats would include a variety of things such as, accuracy, times killed, who killed by, who was killed by you and more.
Also different backgrounds for each character.

It needs more visual flare. Maybe have a stand that says 1st 2nd and 3rd. Or another off the wall idea could have something to do with the stage. For example if the stage was a limbo stage the three losers would run away from monsters like a spider and all get attacked by the spider/monsters and the winner gets away
