And if not, will there be any limitations to what players without PS+/XBL Gold membership can do? I must know before I think about what I'm getting it on.

ryanarcher29- Actually, we are intensively determining what platform is better for our beloved title Indie Assault. I prefer Sony PlayStation for their mass audience here in the U.S. along with welcoming arms to indies, but I watched a 15 minute documentary today on Double Helix/ Iron Galaxy's take on working with Microsoft Studios for Killer Instinct and they said the business relationship they have with them as beyond incredible with both creative freedom and a well to do financial backing. ndukauba (our Community Manager)- Correct me if I am wrong, but I am certain players are now required to have either PS+ or Xbox Live to access their games online with friends, right?

Not all PS4 games require PS+ to play online in (however, there are limitations to the online features without PS+), though I'm not sure about Xbox One's. What I'm asking is, are you guys planning on having paid membership needed to fully enjoy Indie Assault's online features, or planning on allowing any normal PSN/Xbox Live players to fully enjoy it?
I'd really hate to get and renew PS+ over and over again just to play online...

Considering the fact that they wanna release it on a next gen console, a PS3 release might not be likely (though, it would be nice). I'm hoping there're some people here on the forum who would get this on Steam.

So seriously, will online features require PS+/XBL Gold membership? I also really wanna play the pre-alpha demo when it comes out and it's gonna be on the next-gen consoles, I really wanna play it with the other forummers, but again, I don't wanna have to pay just to play online. And if it's coming out for the PS4, will the game have cross-play with the PS3?
I can't help but feel childish for wording things with "play" and "with"...
