nitrohamster- Some issues though. * Steve from Minecraft is a blocky character, and to do his IP justice we would need to retain his original look. Unfortunately, in a 2.5D fighting game, we have no idea how to animate him to "visually show" different attacks. Though, he would fit well for a Boss or special guest character. * Really, not sure about Fez. What would his moveset look like??? Also, his original creator/ designer quit the gaming industry last year after too many online negative comments about him and/ or Fez. Spelunky is another story entirely.!. Derek Yu was emailed twice over a month or two ago with no reply whatsoever, and thus we gave up on reaching out to him. belowzer0- Thanks! That means a ton to indie developers knowing there is a general interest in bringing over their IP into this indie fighting game universe.

Unfortunately, both studios for Tommynaut and Hat Kid aren't interested in the partnership opportunity.

If it's possible, you guys should seriously try to figure out how to animate him because having Steve in your game would definitely boost sales and probably cause more indie companies to want their characters in your game. Maybe you guys can ask Notch how he animated Steve.

JaredG- No problem! I am a strong supporter of this game and would love to see Hat Kid in the game! I will be sending more emails out to other companies as well!
I realize that Abe from Oddworld might be a little difficult to get, but you should try because he would bring a lot of buyers and he's such a unique character that would bring some variety to the roster! I know I keep asking for you to ask Just Add Water for Abe, but that's because he is an indie legend and he deserves to be in a mashup.
Three more highly recognizable characters:
the guy from Terraria by Re-Logic (in my opinion he is very important)
The Worms characters by Team17 (again another highly recognizable character(s)
The Mutant Mudds character by Renegade Kid.
Please get back to me if/when you ask or already have asked for these characters. And has inti creates/ comcept gotten back to you about Beck?

Maybe you guys can ask Notch how he animated Steve. It's not that we don't know how to animate the character. Its that "Steve" is all blocky and his punch would look the same as like a b-smash or up-tilt. There would seriously be little in the way of visual differentiation between his entire moveset.

Thanks so much nitrohamster for sending Ronimo Games about getting one of their characters in Bionic Fighters! TBH, their game Awesomenauts has some super slick character designs that our team would seriously favor to have in the game like: Yuri, Froggy G, and Ayla would be epic crossover characters to have in the game. The last, I heard from their studio was I'll forward this message over to the appropriate departments like 2-ish months ago. Then, crickets since then. Edit: belowzer0- I only just recently reached out to Comcept USA, LLC about licensing Beck for use in Bionic Fighters. So we'll see about their decision.
